Main features: P961341 is a soft red winter translocation line. It was developed as a source of resistance to barley yellow dwarf virus-PAV luteovirus (BYDV) and cereal yellow dwarf virus-RPV polarovirus (CYDV). These resistances originate from the intermediate wheatgrass (Thinopyrum intermedium) parent. P961341 also has resistance to leaf and glume blotch, it includes the rusts resistance block Lr37-Yr17-Sr38 , and showed resistance to soilborne mosaic virus. Powdery mildew develops more slowly in this line compared to other susceptible wheat lines.
