The Pioneer variety 26R46 is one of best quality parents for soft wheat quality and good for stripe rust. SS 550 (VA96W-247) is poor for quality.

The main objective of our mapping program is soft wheat milling and baking traits for quality. We are also determining soil-borne mosaic wheat virus and stripe rust.
