Mapping Project Objectives

1. To identify and map QTL conferring high-temperature, adult plant resistance to stripe rust in the soft white spring wheat cultivar Louise.
   
2. To develop tightly linked DNA markers for major QTL associated with HTAP resistance in Louise for use in marker-assisted selection strategies designed to deploy this resistance into other cultivars.
